Versatile Four Section Design
This bed has been purpose built to be as versatile as possible, with a four section platform base built on a scissor mechanism for smooth, adaptable profiling. The backrest can tilt from 0 to 70°, allowing patients to lay down and sit up comfortably and easily. The leg rest can be adjusted from 0 to 30°, and the bed has a built-in Trendelenberg function, making it highly adaptable. Finally, the base of the bed can be adjusted between 240mm and 800mm, allowing it to adapt to different needs and environments.
New and Improved
The Harvest Elba Care Profiling Bed has been updated from past versions to meet new 2017 regulations and better suit the needs of as many patients as possible. With a new maximum height of 800mm, this bed provides an optimal working height for nursing staff and carers. Additionally, each bed has an increased rail height, allowing for the use of deeper mattresses which provide better pressure relief.
New features have been added to this profiling bed, most notably the auto-regression backrest and adjustable handset:
This feature allows the backrest to slide up and down, avoiding any jarring movements to the patient as they are lowered. This eases the patient into a seated position, preventing the upper body from being squashed or pushing on vital pressure points.
This profiling bed can be easily controlled by patient or carer with the use of an adjustable handset that attaches to the bed side. This allows for high levels of freedom of movement as well as a boosted sense of patient comfort.
