Harvest Safe Roll vs Regular Floor Mats
Traditional static floor mats create as many issues as they prevent. They are often a trip hazard and require frequent re-arrangement to make room for any necessary safety and handling equipment. Worst of all, these inconvenient floor mats are often too thin to provide adequate protection from falls.
The Harvest Universal Safe Roll Folding Crash Mat is not only deeper to ensure true protection but it also raises alongside the bed, enabling access for carers and equipment. Once the bed is lowered, this deep foam mat rolls out to continue providing secure fall protection.
Is the Folding Crash Mat Hygienic?
The crash mat comes with a removable cover that is machine washable up to 80°C or can be wiped down with a mild detergent solution. This means it is easy to maintain cleanliness and minimise the risk of infection. The folding mat should not be bleached, tumble dried, dry cleaned, or ironed.
How Easy Is the Folding Crash Mat to Use?
The product is designed with Velcro flaps that simply hook round the frame of the profiling bed for quick and easy installation. Once attached to the bed, the safe roll system will lift with the frame when it is raised. When the frame is lowered, simply pull the folded bottom outwards with your foot and watch as the mat slides across the floor and settles into its protective position.
How Do I Pack the Mat Away?
When providing care, the bottom section of the mat is easily folded against the top half, sealing with Velcro joints. This will create space for any handling equipment or access needed.
