The Domus 3D Pressure Mattress is suitable for use by individuals at medium to high risk of pressure sore development. As it features a digital pump for greater pressure control, it allows the level of alternating pressure relief to be adjusted to the best level required for the user.

How Does the Wellell Domus 3D Work?

The air cells within the Domus 3D Mattress Overlay are designed to provide optimal airflow within the mattress, maximising the efficacy of alternating therapy. The mattress overlay can also be used for continuous low pressure therapy, improving patient comfort.

How Does Alternating Therapy Work?

The alternating air therapy setting of the Wellell Doumus 3D Overlay works by inflating and deflating the air cells in sequence. This helps to mimic natural sleep, improving circulation and helping to avoid long-term pressurisation of tissue.

Yes, the Wellell Domus 3D Pressure Mattress can be used for constant low pressure use in static mode. This reduces pressure by a third from alternating pressure relief, and helps to boost patient comfort.

How Safe Is the Pressure Mattress Overlay?

The Domus 3D Overlay has been designed to ensure patient safety. It features a panel lock to prevent unauthorised changes to the pressure level, as well as alarms for power failure and low pressure.

The CPR strap on the side of the mattress allows the mattress to be quickly deflated in case of emergency, while also designed to prevent accidental triggering. The cover of the overlay is fire resistant for added safety.

Is the Mattressy Overlay Easy to Store?

Yes, the Domus 3D Overlay is easy to store when not in use. It features a side buckle so that the mattress can be rolled up and secured for storing with ease.

Can I Use a Mattress Topper With This Unit?

The Wellell Domus 3D Pressure Relief Mattress is NOT suitable for use with a mattress topper.
