Invacare Easy-Fit Sling
When transferring patients with severe physical disabilities, it's important to use a sling that provides full body support and positioning. The Invacare Easy-Fit Sling provides you with a safe and comfortable transfer that is suitable for a range of different users, including those with severe physical disabilities. To provide optimal fit and support, the Easy-Fit Sling has been developed in coordination with occupational and physical therapists, resulting in a sling that allows good hip positioning and an upright sitting posture.

Suitability of the Easy-Fit Sling
Supporting the whole body and head, the Easy-Fit Sling is suited for users with the most challenging physical disabilities. The sling features separate leg supports that can be easily applied and the sling provides good hip position so the user can sit relatively upright. It should be noted that it is important to perform diligent risk assessment before use with severely disabled patients.
Suitable for Amputee Transfers
Another use for the versatile Easy-Fit Sling is for transferring amputees. It is easily applied in both sitting and lying positions for greater flexibility, allowing it to be used for virtually any type of transfer.
Materials of Invacare Slings
Solid Polyester: A standard material that is easy to apply. It slides smoothly and dries quickly after washing.
Spacer Fabric: A slightly elastic fabric that adapts to the user's body shape. It is well suited for those with skin integrity issues. It is important to carry out risk assessment with reference to skin integrity for those who will be seated on the sling for long periods.

Which Hoists Can I Use the Sling With?
This sling is designed with loop fixings. It is designed for easy and secure attachment to all hoists with loop fixing compatibility.
Care Instructions
Please follow these care instructions to make sure that your sling retains its level of quality:
- Suitable for machine washing up to 95°C
- Do not bleach
- Slings can be tumble-dried
The maximum user weight for sizes Extra Small to Large is 200kg. For Extra Large slings, the maximum weight is 250kg. Please see the chart above for recommended user weights.
